Feelin' It.

Oh. My. God. I took the time outta my day to go test the Hellgate Demo, around 2 hours worth, one for each class available to play at Demo, and I must say, it was awesome.
The classes available in the demo is the Blademaster and the Marksman.

Blademaster: The Blademaster had a 3rd person view, top down. Traditional movements, WSAD. The attacks were slightly floaty. I found myself running towards an enemy, and clicking the attack button, only to find myself drifting off a little before coming to a stop. That's not such a big deal, but the drift could be lowered a bit. Stopping still exactly isn't so great, so, at least a bit of drift. A BIT.

Marksman: Oh my god, this class plays totally in FPS from the get-go. The game is infinitely much more scary in FPS, especially when you see a zombie rushing towards you. AND IN THIS GAME, ZOMBIES (Or Necros) DON'T LIMP TOWARDS YOU! THEY SPRINT. AND TRY TO BASH YOUR HEAD IN.

The Feel: The game had a veeerry gritty feel to it. It's dark, eerie and got that...horror movie feel to it. To a toned down degree. The monsters are physics-rendered too, so when I chop down on some zombies, they fall appropriately. The game lives up to general hype for the most part. I can see the multi-player portions unfolding already. It'd be interesting.

Other than that, see for yourself! *Link to demo provided below*
