Other Branches
I've decided. I, in my free time, will sub-play alongside HG:L, CABAL Online and RO2 Online. Even though I hate Asiashit, it's more about the game, not the company. I don't have to limit myself just cause the company executives are all money-hoarding bastards.
I'm actually feeling quite.... disappointed with mehself for even thinking of playing an Asiashit game... but heck, I'm gonna try for it anyway. If it turns out like THAT one, then I'm just ejecting.

Goddamn it, Asiasoft is taking over the games I actually ENJOY. SHIT!
First off, they're acquiring Ragnarok Online 2. I quite enjoyed RO1, but cause of the bots, I quit. I was HOPING that RO2 might be a fresh start, but then, Asiasoft stepped in and took over it. GODDAMN!!!!!!! ARRGGHH!!!!
Second, another game I enjoyed THOROUGHLY during its beta, Cabal Online. Yes, that's right, it's Cabal. After 3/4 of a year Cabal is finally coming to SEA. But then, it got captured. But Asiashit. Great. Just great.
You know, if Asiashit aren't such corporate whores, I wouldn't mind actually playing one of their games, but UNFORTUNATELY, THEY ARE. And they don't use Gamemasters to police their servers too! Great! And we all know what happened the LAST time one of their games went popular and unsupervised!! "cc plz." "oi, this is my map." "KS WARR!!"
Yes. Thanks for destroying my gaming dreams Asiashit, thanks a lot.

Feelin' It.
Oh. My. God. I took the time outta my day to go test the Hellgate Demo, around 2 hours worth, one for each class available to play at Demo, and I must say, it was awesome.
The classes available in the demo is the Blademaster and the Marksman.
Blademaster: The Blademaster had a 3rd person view, top down. Traditional movements, WSAD. The attacks were slightly floaty. I found myself running towards an enemy, and clicking the attack button, only to find myself drifting off a little before coming to a stop. That's not such a big deal, but the drift could be lowered a bit. Stopping still exactly isn't so great, so, at least a bit of drift. A BIT.
Marksman: Oh my god, this class plays totally in FPS from the get-go. The game is infinitely much more scary in FPS, especially when you see a zombie rushing towards you. AND IN THIS GAME, ZOMBIES (Or Necros) DON'T LIMP TOWARDS YOU! THEY SPRINT. AND TRY TO BASH YOUR HEAD IN.
The Feel: The game had a veeerry gritty feel to it. It's dark, eerie and got that...horror movie feel to it. To a toned down degree. The monsters are physics-rendered too, so when I chop down on some zombies, they fall appropriately. The game lives up to general hype for the most part. I can see the multi-player portions unfolding already. It'd be interesting.
Other than that, see for yourself! *Link to demo provided below*

I'm not sure if it's international or Western countries only, but there has been a release of the Demo, for Hellgate: London. Too stressed and bummed from the impending exams and the studying, so nonsense and enthusiasm gauges are low. So I'll just add the link, and you can go ahead and try it if you want. Make sure to post a review on it too.

Update update update. Might be important
I've just received news that, as of yesterday, Hellgate: London Collector's Edition has completed its stock distribution => they're all gone and will not be anymore.
Personally, I'm slightly worried about my pre-order, but if worse comes to worse, it's standard edition for me.
The official news post on this.
Also, for anyone who would have/is contemplating Pre-ordering from IAHGames, STOP RIGHT THERE. As of yet, the community/customer service of the company is severely lacking and isn't providing enough information regarding pre-order, heck, it isn't even REPLYING to posts at all. This is what worries me. So until further updates, do not click that pre-order button.

I've got a truckload of new demos on Saturday and I've spent quite some time trying em out. Lazy to study so, oh well.
Firstly: Call of Duty 4: Modern Combat Demo.
This demo mission plays out in the level known as, The Bog. An M1 Abrahms tank is stuck in, well, a bog, and it's the job of the player's squad from the 1st Recon to go secure the tank for repair and extraction. You'll fight through a caved in building, CQC and finally, out into the bog (more like a marsh) itself, to defend the tank, last stand style.
My thoughts: The action is fast, furious and in your face. It'll make BHD look like a fight between kittens in a cardboard box filled with downy pillows. Even in the lowest difficulty, if you lose concentration, rest assured, you will get shot down. The weapons are the type you'd see now, M4, M203 Nade Launcher, Nightvision, Flashbang etc, even a shotgun. And finally, no more shooting Nazis. It's fun and all, but it's getting old. I think people all over the world, in games killed more Nazis than the entire population of Europe put together. TWICE.
Secondly: Time Shift Demo
My Thoughts: This. Game. Is. Kick Ass. Seriously. FPS, you control time with your suit, can Stop it, Slow it or Reverse it. And you can do pretty nifty stuff with it, like, blow up a canister, stop time, jump on it, then release time and ride the canister up somewhere. Or, like I did, stop time, run up to a fella, take his weapon and then bash/shoot the guy with his own weapon. It's fun, very gory, so small kids stay away, and surprisingly, less taxing on the texture capability of the card compared to COD4, yet delivers MUCH more higher quality textures and physics and content. Great stuff man.
Thirdly: Age Of Empires: The Asian Dynasties Demo
My Thoughts: You know, if you played one of em, you've played em all. I'm not all that into RTS like certain people are in this guild, but I'm still okay with em. AoE is pretty much...normal. Build, attack, battle-cry a bit, win, yay. Rinse, repeat. Maybe it has some stuff you'd not see in another RTS, but...nothing that makes me go WHOA. Fine, I like action games better. But I don't see much potential in this. I could be wrong, maybe the actual gameplay would rock, but for now, it's just...ho hum.

Armaments.
*Re-Post*
Ian apparently acquired his stuff and has contact with my supplier now. Premiums are still sold now, and from what I heard new and better stuff just came in. With check them out ASAP. Just ask Ian for more details.
Just thought some of you might wanna know in case you guys were interested. Also, observations show high airsoft possesion ratings in the hands of juveniles in the Pasir Ris East, Tampines North and Bedok Reservior areas. Be careful. Kids, especially the Malay ones on bikes, have no qualms about opening fire on unsuspecting passerbys just for fun. Although it really doesn't cause much injury, accidents can happen.

Announcement
Aw, cmon, I'm not THAT pro...besides, I was the one who initially created the blog in the first place, so it's my responsibility! LOL. Okay, anyway. The suggested WoTM submission page is ready for posting, invitations have been sent out. Do post comments, WoTMs, etc there, and please submit suggestions to improve the site. For example, whether there should be a chatbox, music, or whether the fonts, spaces are too small, etc. All set? Yay!
Cheers!
The Technical Support Team
As you all know (and can obviously see), the guild blog has been COMPLETELY Re-vamped, aannd...to get to the point, is freaking nice. SO, I'd like to give a BIG HAND [And some donuts] to the Technical support "team", WHO, in tlhis case, Single handedly completed EVERYTHING and also made it look freaking nice, while neglecting his blog, which is a Big green mess (literally). SO. LET'S GIVE A ROUND OF APPLAUSE TO THE MAGICAL -somewhat pro- technical support fella, who did it all and at FOC, for us, who have no idea about html coding, aand also all who gave feedback and support and spent time to make this site possible. CHEERS! --To every good thing in life-- *You know who i am =) *
Hi again. You'd probably have noticed the new ranks in the left sidebar under the "soldiers" category. I was thinking that perhaps we could attain "specialist" ranks as well. What do you think? Post your comments!
Cheers,
The Technical Support Team
